Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates

Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates (RMGA) is devoted to the care of patients with diseases and disorders of the digestive tract; including the esophagus, stomach and intestines.

Founded in 1997, RMGA has grown into a practice of twenty-three (23) Gastroenterologists with eight (8) office locations and three (3) endoscopy centers serving the Greater Denver Metro Area.  Additionally, our Board Certified Physicians practice at a variety of hospitals and travel to other communities in Colorado to see patients and perform Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy procedures.

We are a clinical office practice, although many of us have research interests and participate in clinical research.  As a physician-owned practice that participates in a wide variety of insurance plans, we approach medicine with an attitude that puts you, the patient, first and foremost as our priority. Thank you for your interest in RMGA. We look forward to providing you with superior care!

Special Announcement about Propofol:

Rocky Mountain Endoscopy Centers is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Anesthesia Health Partners (AHP) to offer Propofol sedation to our patients for the endoscopic procedures. Patients having their procedure done at the Aurora Endoscopy Center, Lakewood Endoscopy Center or North Denver Endoscopy Center will be screened for eligibility and, provided they are a good candidate, will receive Propofol administered by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).  Propofol is becoming the preferred method of sedation across the nation as it provides many advantages over the prior method of using a combination of Fentanyl and Versed.

We will continue to provide our patients with the best sedation available to better serve our community and increase rates for Colorectal Cancer Screening.

Propofol offers many advantages as a sedative for endoscopy, including:

  • Improved Comfort

  • Better Polyp Detection Rates

  • Faster Onset of Sedation

  • Faster Patient Recovery
