Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates

Rocky Mountain Gastroenterology Associates (RMGA) is devoted to the care of patients with diseases and disorders of the digestive tract; including the esophagus, stomach and intestines, and liver and pancreas.

Founded in 1997, RMGA has grown into a practice of twenty-two (22) Gastroenterologists with eight (8) office locations and three (3) endoscopy centers serving the Greater Denver Metro Area. Additionally, our Board Certified Physicians practice at a variety of hospitals and travel to other communities in Colorado to see patients and perform Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy procedures.

We are a clinical office practice, although many of us have research interests and participate in clinical research. As a physician-owned practice that participates in a wide variety of insurance plans, we approach medicine with an attitude that puts you, the patient, first and foremost as our priority.

All things considered, this procedure was easy. The hardest thing was the prep… I suggest staying home for the prep! But once I reached the facility, the staff were incredibly thoughtful, amused and happy to be there. The facility was so comfortable — LOVE the big fluffy lounge chairs during the procedure prep and recovery! Dr. Walker was personable and clearly intelligent, but also very human. I appreciate a doctor who can be “real” and “honest” upfront. I had gotten the procedure because several other doctors had speculated various intestinal issues due to random pain and bloating that I experienced. Dr. Walker clarified that everything looked 100% healthy and I was educated on Irritable Bowel Syndrome as the follow-up. Having had 2 colonoscopies/upper GI procedure in the past, at out-of-state facilities, this was by far the most comfortable and caring staff and building I had been in. Thank you!
